Rehnuma Tasmiyah Chowdhury completed her BSc and MS degree from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB), University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. She started her research carrier in 2016 at Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function (EuGEF), BMB, University of Chittagong. At EuGEF she joined in a number of projects. She was involved in clinical and basic research in the field of cancer biology particularly in screening cancer patients with demographic data and checking the expression of Gli1 in triple negative breast cancer under the supervision of Dr. ASM Noman. She also actively focused on a project regarding the Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) pathway that plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of a wide range of cancer including breast cancer where she made herself competent in different molecular biology techniques.
Outside her research activities she is interested in traveling, reading book, collecting coin & ticket, spending time with family & friends.
