Mr. S.M. Ikram Hossain obtained his BSc and MS degree major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He started his research career in January 2016 at Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function, BMB, CU. During his research period he had been being involved in number of research projects at EuGEF Research Group under the supervision of Professor Dr. ASM Noman. He focused on the role of signalling molecules in cancer progression to identify novel diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic approaches for cancer patients. Beside he was actively involved in epidemiological field investigations on screening cancer and paediatric congenital disease patients with demographic data based on ethnic region in Bangladesh.
Presently he is working as Biochemist at Popular Diagnostic Centre Ltd. where he is assigned for different clinical diagnosis through molecular biology techniques, chemistry and immunoassay systems.
In his leisure time, he enjoys organizing health campaign and other social and humanitarian activities. Besides, writing poetry, article and novels, travelling and social networking are main hobbies of him. He is also an e-activist and executive member of Amnesty International as well as Spoke Person of Radical International, an international human rights organization.
