Sheikh Mizanur Rahaman received his BSc and MS degree from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, and started his research carrier in June 2014 at Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function (EuGEF), BMB, CU under the supervision of Dr. ASM Noman. At EuGEF he was involved to rule out the environmental health sciences on arsenic mediated carcinogenesis and to justify the serum AFP level with hepatocellular carcinoma as well as screening the AFP positive and negative patients in the ethical region Chittagong. Now as a PhD student in Japan he is working with Dr. Akihiro Yamanaka to identify the novel roles of VTA GAD67+ neuron on mice behavior through DR 5-HT neuron and another project he works with Dr. Yamaguchi to know the function of MS ChAT neuron on mice sleep and behavior by using GRABACh3.0 sensor.
He enjoys his free time by watching movies, reading novels and spending time with family.
