M Lutfur Rahman, MS

Mr. Md. Lutfur Rahman holds B.Sc. and MS degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. on improving the efficiency of targeted knock-in mediated by CRISPR/Cas9 nickases under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hiroyuki Konishi in the dept. of Biochemistry, Aichi Medical University, Japan. He is also involved with some other sub-projects to reveal molecular target therapies for malignant pleural mesothelioma patients.

  

Since he started his research career at the Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function (EuGEF), BMB, CU, in January 2013, his indomitable willpower for research has been continued and published several research articles as a co-author in the renowned scientific journals. He accomplished his MS thesis from the EuGEF laboratory on arsenic mediated alteration of heat shock proteins (HSPs) under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abu Shadat M Noman, BMB, CU. At EuGEF, he is connected with cutting-edge research on understanding the mechanism of signaling molecules in cancer progression to identify novel diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic approaches for breast cancer and head & neck cancer patients. 

On vacation, he usually prefers to go to natural sights with family members or friends.
