Farah Ulfat Jamee completed her BSc and MS degree from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. She started her research carrier in 2016 at Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function, BMB, CU. At EuGEF she joined in a number of projects. She was involved in clinical and basic research in the field of cancer biology particularly in screening cancer patients with demographic data and checking BRCA1/2 expression in breast cancer subtypes of different ethnic region at Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function (EuGEF). She also actively focused on a project regarding the Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) pathway that plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of a wide range of cancer including breast cancer under the supervision of Dr. ASM Noman where she made herself competent in different molecular biology techniques. In her free time she enjoys reading novels, watching movies, listening to music.
